Our mission is to maintain the mobility of dogs and protect their joints. We want to revolutionize dog transport and improve health in the long term.
How did Dog&Drive came about?
Joint problems are a daily topic in veterinary practices, as a large number of dogs suffer from osteoarthritis. In close cooperation with veterinarians, we have developed solutions with which we aim to preventively reduce the numbers of dogs suffering from osteoarthritis. The health of our four-legged friends is important to us and we want to protect them. Dog&Drive makes everyday situations such as driving easier, healthier and less stressful for you and your dog.
Implementation
Over the course of more than five years, a wide variety of prototypes were created, which were analyzed in extensive tests and field applications. Dog transportation in general has been taken to a new level with the Dog&Drive system. The premise from the beginning was to develop a system that would benefit pet owners and dogs alike.
How
The foldaway Dog&Drive steps eliminate the need to jump out of the trunk. The dog can therefore get in and out in its natural movement. Dog&Drive is very easy to use for every dog lover thanks to its one-handed operation. The staircase can be installed and removed in seconds with just one movement. The frame for the steps is intelligently secured in the trunk using eyelets and rails.
Outlook
The current handcrafted full carbon version is our entry into this market segment. Concepts for the implementation of a rear seat bench variant already exist and are awaiting implementation. In the future, automated production concepts could lead to the Dog&Drive system also finding its way into the mid-range car segment.
